About Me

I started my coaching method with one goal in mind: to support people to identify and live their life’s purpose so that their soul can be fulfilled. The end result is that people are able to live a life with more clarity, focus, ease, and grace. My background is in education, organizational development, leadership development, labor, and human resources. As both a former teacher and then a professional advocate for public school employees, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Education from North Carolina A&T State University and a master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. I was trained to become a coach at the Academy for Coaching Excellence, an ICF accredited professional coaching training program.

I came to coaching after years of trying different techniques to help me move forward in accomplishing my goals in life.  Though I consider myself a successful person, there were times when I really struggled in the process.  I was having thoughts that were either slowing me down or blocking me.  As this internal conversation continued, sometimes it would lead to feeling paralyzed and unable to accomplish my goal.  Although I did not know exactly what it would be, I knew that there had to be a better way to approach these challenges so that I could live the life that I want and accomplish my goals with ease.

As I continued to seek support, I came across coaching.  Little did I know it would have such a profound impact on my life.  Now I navigate through challenges with more clarity, focus, ease, and grace.  Thoughts that paralyzed me may continue to exist but are now put into proper context so that I move forward with strength and certainty.

Now, I am more present with life and accomplishing my dreams daily.  I experience more joy and unexpected blessings. After having such transformation in my own life, I believe that others are also seeking to have a similar experience so that they can fully live the life that they really want to live.
